GREAT READS ON HONDURAS
$1,000 per person*
This includes transportation, lodging, meals, 3 day excursion to Maya Ruins Copan and T-shirt. An additional $41 cash will be needed with you for airport exit tax, money for souvenirs you may want to buy plus tipping. Honduras is one of the poorest countries in Latin America and tipping is one way to spread the wealth a bit more evenly and make your tourist dollars count in a more direct way.

PURPOSE OF THE TRIP
The majority of the children in rural communities in Honduras have never seen a dentist or have received health care due to the distance and lack of financial resources to receive medical care. Every year, The Glo Foundation’s Dental and Health Brigade works side by side with local and foreign health professionals to provide dental and medical care to children in rural and remote communities in Honduras. We'll be traveling to a small town rich in history and culture south of Tegucigalpa, in which we will be visiting surrounding villages to provide basic dental and medical care.
Some travel to see the difference, others travel to make a difference.
